A myriad of issues. I booked 2 rooms with twin beds for 4 men who wanted to sleep separately (including myself). I was "upgraded" to a king-size bed. At first, I was pleased, assuming it was a king-size bed with an extra bed, but it turned out to be just one bed, forcing me to share with my friend. The "upgrade" was a guise as there were no other rooms available that night. In reality, it was more of a downgrade in our situation. I requested a twin bed the next day, which technically meant I was downgraded twice. On a positive note, the staff were friendly and welcoming about it, but it was a headache to pack and move in and out of the rooms for such a short trip. On the first evening of my arrival in Bali, I laid on their beach chairs while other patrons were around. The next day, I had horrible mite bites all over my leg, which blistered and swelled. I informed the staff, and the recreational manager, in summary, responded with, "Nope, not us. We spray our chairs down. I can show you the spray we use if you don't believe me." He then added that because I sat there during "closed" hours (past 7 pm), I was bitten. It was such an odd and perplexing comment to discredit my criticism. Do the bugs wait for staff permission to come out after 7 pm? Does the bug spray for the seats expire after 7 pm every day? Absolutely amusing. Moreover, the pool table was comedically disassembled—broken, with wooden bits lying on the floor and pool cues split at the tip. If the billiard balls weren’t stuck in the pockets, they would just roll onto the floor, all the way to the bar area. You’d have to embarrassingly apologize to others to retrieve them. Additionally, after all of this, I could not even get my requested late checkout after confirming and checking with the staff every night. Its great being a platinum accor member. The only benefits I received were my welcome drinks, plentiful bites, and a despondent holiday. Writing this on a late Monday night, I’ll write a proper review on Google or something later when I’m bothered. Plus, I’m Indo-Australian and can speak Bahasa. Maybe I didn’t get my way because I’m not a blazing Aussie.

I just returned from an amazing stay at Novotel Bali Benoa, and I can’t say enough good things about it. The front office staff were so welcoming and friendly—it really set the tone for our entire stay. The service throughout the resort was exceptional; everyone was attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. The food was absolutely delicious, with plenty of variety to keep things interesting. We also used the photography services by Loftmoments, and I’m so glad we did. The photos turned out beautifully, capturing our holiday perfectly. Highly recommended!

Our recent stay at Novotel Bali Benoa was a delightful experience for our family. Comfortable rooms, combined with its amenities, made it the perfect base for our Bali adventure. While the beach in this area can be a bit unpredictable, the resort's other features more than made up for it. The tropical rooms near the pool and restaurant were ideal for us, offering easy access to all. We particularly enjoyed the refreshing pool and the food at the on-site restaurants. There’s also complimentary photo shoot and the photographer was friendly and funny. The resulting photos were a fun and memorable keepsake that we'll treasure for years to come. If you're looking for a family-friendly resort in Bali with plenty to offer, Novotel Benoa is a good choice.

Having not been to Bali before, believed we were staying in Nusa Dua, Benoa Beach area not as nice as Nisa Dua we found. Food was okay, but along with local taxes rather expensive for basic hotel food, compared to local restaurants. Clean hotel, really lovely staff and rooms are great
