I 1/5 a day ago on Google Honestly, we are so happy to leave this hotel. We would never stay here again. The whole experience from Check into checkout was just the pits. Talking about the room which is in need of refurbishing, You can make your own conclusion based on the state of the drains which wouldn't clear despite numerous requests. The location of this hotel makes it a traffic nightmare. The staff are helpful enough to help you cross the road without getting hit by traffic, But the endless stream of road noise especially motorbikes doing high speed means you gotta need to wear earplugs through the night. But probably even more importantly, you're not going to Relax in this location because you have the constant sound that never stops. In terms of meals and food, the hotel restaurant is expensive and the meals are less than average. There are not that many places you can go to around this location other than other high priced hotels. Again, any of the restaurants that are located on the road near this hotel are extremely noisy and you're not going to relax. Talking about the Wifi, you'll find that the bandwidth you're given on check-in is woeful. You can take a look at the Internet speed when I conducted a Internet speed test. The whole goal of this of course is to get you to upgrade to the premier Wi-Fi package which to be perfectly honest is not any better. We had better Wifi at the noisy cafe down the road where we had to buy our breakfast every morning because otherwise we would've spent several hundred dollars just on breakfast alone. So there's a warning if you choose to ignore everything else we've said then you better make sure you get breakfast included in your room package. And while you're at it, you better be specific about what kind of room you want otherwise you're likely to get stuck right up the back of the Hotel on the other side of the road where the rooms are older, and many of them overlook the roof of the poolside bar versus the view of the pool which is promised in their advertising.

Pros :The hotel is very nice with beach access and beachfront swimming pool. You can also do watersport in the nearby beach. Staffs are very friendly. Cons : located in the edge of benoa, there are limited options of nearby restaurants and it is quite far to go seminyak and canggu area if you are partygoers. Recommended = for family with kids and people who want to enjoy quiet beach instead of partying

Great pools and rooms

Overall we really enjoyed our stay with Novetel. We think improvement can be made with the kids club, there were days where activities should have taken place but when we went there. The kids were just on video games which was abit disappointing. We also found it a little inconvenient that the kids club closed from 12-1pm, it made it very hard to leave the resort for a few hours as we had to be close to collect the kids for that time. The final thing which I think requires addressing would be the coffee machines for breakfast, it was terrible it literally took 20mins to get a coffee due to the machines continuing to break down. There were staff constantly there trying to fix them while guests were having to wait around. You would be more effective in paying a barrista to make coffee with a coffee machine, its quicker, more personable and tastes better. It did really ruin the morning breakfasts I dreaded them. Otherwise staff were great, room was great and pools were fantastic.

A great place to spend your vacation. The rooms are clean and well-maintained, cleaned daily. Towels are replaced every day, and drinking water is replenished. The hotel has two large pools and a small pool for children. It is located by a beautiful, small and private beach. The staff is friendly, helpful, and polite. We booked the option with breakfast only, and it was more than sufficient. There are plenty of restaurants, street food options, and shops nearby. The hotel breakfasts were varied, tasty, and fresh, served buffet-style. You could also order egg dishes, such as a delicious omelet or waffles and pancakes, at no extra charge. The place is safe for European tourists when it comes to stomach issues. We had no unwanted digestive problems (of course, remembering to take a daily dose of probiotics). It was fantastic, I highly recommend it!
