Although the room was dated, it was clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and very accommodating. Location made it easy to walk to the ICC… Great value for money!

The room was incredibly small for the price. The bathroom old and dated and tiny. The shower cubicle so small you couldn’t even bend over to wash your feet which definitely needed doing after walking on the carpet that hadn’t been deep cleaned in some time.

It was an affordable price, yes. But the room was tiny; we didn't even have bedside tables, so items had to sit on the floor near the bed. The shower barely let out water at all, and I was hoping for basic shampoo, but it was a 3-1 body wash/shampoo situation. And our toilet would run for ages after flushing.Clean but very basic.

Experience was booked through Qantas, and we booked a Superior room which was supposed to have a queen and single bed. There was a double and a single bed. The bathroom was inadequate in its size and supplies.

One till to order drinks and dinner for the whole hotel - thats ridiculous so everyone is waiting. Rooms are clean but tired. No upgrade when its make no difference to you - not like someone is going to rock up and buy those rooms after I check in at 7pm. Lost opportunity. F&B overpriced - you are charging luxury prices and you are not luxury at the IBIS. $300 - I could stay at the sofitel for that and go out for breakfast.

Friendly person on reception, we were able to get checked in early. Great location found everything to be in walking distance. Only complaint was the room never got serviced in the 3 days we were there
