It would be great if when you book you could book 1 car park and then if u had more cars from there then it’s just luck of the draw. It was frustrating when I got there at 10pm and then had to go find a car park

I was on the fifth floor & could still hear every single thing happening down on the street at 2am when I was trying to sleep. I get its a hotel in the CBD but I'd expect some level of soundproofing, & instead it sounded like they were outside my room The tap was leaking in the bathroom, both at the sink onto the counter top & at the fitting in the wall leaking onto the floor I get you have to provide something with the Accor status, but a plate of stale crackers & warm fruit & cheese in a room you haven't turned the AC on for wasn't very appealing. I'd have preferred just the note at that stage

The stay was one of the worst Accor experiences ever. The wait for the room was 2 hours however the team course corrected with a glass of wine and a complimentary ice cream. We didn’t redeem but the heater was appreciated. The keys to the room kept failing (twice) which was annoying- not the end of the world. The real inconvenience was the room location which didn’t have wifi - or rather the wifi kept dropping out and wasn’t strong enough to Chromecast. This was disappointing. The dinner up at Bado was not up to par. The view of course was great but the sticky table was off putting - the team said it’s from the sun. If that’s the case - use tablecloths. The room really should use table cloths. I guess it’s more of a hotel restaurant versus a restaurant you would go to as a non-guest because the whole an atmosphere lacked thought. Anyway - sometimes when your visit starts off on the wrong foot it’s hard to get it back on track. I’m an Accor supporter so that won’t change - just not back to the Movenpick Auckland.

The room was clean and tidy, the bed was comfortable, and the hotel was in a great location. Unfortunately, the downside of the central location was the amount of street noise. Between constant car alarms going off throughout the night, fights outside, and loud traffic, it was very difficult to get a decent night's sleep, which really let the experience down. I also had an issue with the valet parking service, with my car taking around 20 minutes to be brought around. I was told after 15 minutes that they were waiting for a staff member who could drive a manual vehicle, despite my car being an automatic. Overall, while the room itself was lovely and clean, the noise and valet experience were disappointing and would make me hesitant to stay again.

A number of elements fell short at each turn - e.g. TV in the gym not working, washing machine in the guest laundry not working (and staff not very helpful). TV in the room turns on every time you enter, gets annoying. Almost all decaf coffee pods or very sweet/sugary coffee pods in room. No furniture on second floor deck. etc. Great location, but would not stay at a Movenpick again if this is an indicator of the service/quality.

Heat dis not work reliably. WiFi signal was very weak and when it did work, was very slow. In room freezer was terrific.

Eliza, breakfast supervisor made me feel so much welcome. I highly commend the effort and assistance rendered in me during my stay in the hotel. I rarely make a review of my stay, but I was compelled to do so due to her excellent customer service. Appreciate if you can provide her the appropriate recognition for acting above and beyond her call of duty to assist me during my stay in your hotel. However, it would have made my stay even better if you can address your gym facility. it's too small and too basic. Not enough to perform the typical workout when lifting weights. Sincerely, Mr I.

Staff were very helpful and efficient. Valet charged our EV........but didn't replace the charge cable in our boot. I had to contact Nahal (spelling?) at front desk who eventually found the chord and sent it via NZ Post......very helpful followup. THursday nite quiet. Friday night a verbal fight broke out between two women on our floor three doors down in front of the elevator and door slamming , yelling and crying continued for an hour and a half until 0200. We were afraid to intervene and assumed it would be picked up on the video camera and staff would have responded. In the morning we enquired at front desk about awareness by staff of the incident. None. Guess we should have phoned front desk. Staying on the harbour side of the hotel is a definite advantage from street noice and client altercations (second time this year it has happened).

Stayed in double queen room and was great - spacious and comfortable. Enjoyed buffet breakfast - good selection and lovely space on 13th floor. Chocolate hour was a hit with the kids.
