Room standard, bed comfortable. Pleasant staff on reception. Breakfast was standard, however the breakfast staff were accommodating. A member of breakfast staff called Zoe went above and beyond to ensure I was satisfied with my stay, breakfast and wishing me a south journey. Will return.

Time for a refresh

This used to be better and every couple of years we stay here and it seems no money ever gets spent on it. Rooms are OK but really need a refresh, furniture all worn and threadbare or leather cracked and ripped. Clean but dated and such horrible walls that could take your skin off like a cheese greater and needs more plugs around Breakfast is OK, usual standard buffet, luke warm food, quite good range but not to the standard of the European versions you see in the adverts.

Check this place out great breakfast. Even better than the Hilton in my opinion.

We stayed here for a week and the staff at breakfast was amazing treated every guest with most passion great smiles every morning especially Craig,Alisha and Sarah the chef. Great team at breakfast front of house much to be desired a few unwelcome looks and staff Sean to change alot. Never had that connection with them. Breakfast team made up for the others. Great stay.

Exceptional breakfast and waiting staff.

We stayed for 1 week. Parking right outside. Breakfast outstanding! Chef Sarah is exceptional. Craig our waiter is absolutely brilliant, works very hard as do all staff. Both a credit to Novotel. We stay in many hotels and this Novotel is up there with our favourite. Rooms clean. Will definitely return. Close to all amenities.

Extra mysterious charges from my debit card

I recently stayed at Novotel Wolverhampton (Booking Number: NNBLCHQZ) and encountered an issue with an unexpected charge. On the evening of July 19th, we purchased three drinks (one cider, one beer, and one Coke) at the bar and were charged £11.20 for the cider and beer. The bar's till was not working, so the barman took us to the reception to pay for the drinks. The receptionist's till did not recognize the Coke, so we were not charged for it.However, on July 20th, an additional charge of £17.10 appeared on my card without any explanation. Despite checking out on Saturday and multiple attempts to resolve the issue with the hotel staff, including speaking to the receptionist and emailing the general manager, I have not received any response or refund.The delay and lack of communication are unacceptable and have caused significant inconvenience. The unexplained charge, combined with the initial till issue, makes this situation feel like a scam. I would appreciate immediate attention and resolution to this matter.
