First time at this location, just few minutes walk from my show ( came to see Neil Degrasse Tyson at the Meridian Hall) excellent spot for food, convenience store, everything just in walking distance, staff was amazing, was definitely the right choice for my anniversary gift, breakfast 5 stars, best one that I have in Toronto hotels.

We stayed at the Novotel for one night going to see a show downtown. Super easy and walkable location from Union Station and to the show venue up Yonge Street. A short walk (10-15 min or so) to lots of options for food and entertainment. Check in was easy. Elevators require key card access which made the hotel feel secure. Delicious breakfast with kind and personable restaurant staff at Cafe Nicole.

It is a nice hotel. It’s in close proximity to Scotiabank arena. It would’ve been a perfect stay, but the lady at the reception is not so nice. I’m not sure if she’s just in a bad mood, but she is not giving a nice customer service experience.

Every interaction that I had with the staff was excellent. The front desk staff were pleasant, courteous and efficient. The restaurant staff were friendly and welcoming, in spite of being short-staffed on one of the days that I was there. The cleaning staff would always make eye contact, smile and say hello. I very much appreciated how nice everyone on stuff was to me.
