Terrible service, spoke to front desk, and emailed my concerns - ZERO response. I made a mistake and booked a night earlier than needed, was considered a “no show” and they gave our 2 double bed room away for the fri/sat night. But they had a solution, and gave my family a king with pullout, made it sound like I wasn’t being charged since they filled it Thurs night. If I’m being charged full price for 3 nights, I expect the room I paid for. My teenagers do not fit on a pullout couch. Yes it was my mistake, but something should have been done to accommodate us. If I had known I was being charged anyways, I would not have agreed to their “solution”. Parking was also a nightmare, our vehicle didn’t fit in the garage attached, and the hours of the garage across the street cost us a lot more than it should have.

Our sports team was participating in a tournament in Ajax and we all stayed at Novotel. Age group was 12-13 year olds. The hotel staff was friendly and accommodating. Location was great. The rooms were small for a family of 5 but it was clean and modern. Check in/out was very easy and parking spots were spacious. Housekeeping response time was quick. There are only 3 things I think the hotel can improve on: 1 - We were only given 2 large bath towels and everyday we had to ask for 2 extra towels. I wish the front desk made a note to housekeeping to give us the 2 extra towels and save me the trip to the front desk. 2 - Barcode scanners at the parking is terrible - we had trouble scanning the barcode going in and out of the underground parking. 3 - Wifi was slow for watching youtube or netflix on our personal devices, sometimes it won't connect.

Checkin was an issue as my employer had sent in payment by credit card ahead of time. They did not accept the signature on the pre-paid form so i had to use my own credit card for the stay instead of the corporate card. The hotel did not try and resolve the issue at the time of initial booking as the form was sent in as required but not accepted due to the signature differences. They did not try and contact my employer who emailed them back to indicate that here signature had changed in the past few years. They did not follow up. the stay itself was nice, the bed was relatively comfortable and temperature was able to be adjusted to my personal comfort level.

Was traveling with a team for a weekend tournament. This normally involves bringing and storing food & snacks. The room was very comfortable and usable except that we could barely fit anything in the fridge and there was no freezer at all (for ice packs).
