We used the North Rose and City View rooms to get ready for our wedding. They were both very spacious and brought in lots of natural light. It was conveniently located, and our family/makeup team was able to park across the street using GreenP. A few complaints: 1. The contents of the room were dated and ratty. The couches were evidently old, the door frames were heavily scuffed, and the other furniture needed refurbishment. The toilet in the city view room took FOREVER to flush. 2. It took a lot of effort for the hotel to provide us with two longer tables required for my hair and makeup team. Originally, I was told no, but after my MIL went and spoke to them in person, our request was granted. When I got to the hotel, the staff assured me that the tables were in the room, but they were not. As a meeting centre and hotel, finding two tables shouldn't have been that difficult. 3. The staff was a little bit difficult to work with. I called down in the morning and asked for water to be sent up, but none arrived. We called back an hour later, and they said they never received a call. When my friend went to the front desk to order 20 bottles of water (there were 8 bridesmaids, 3 family members, and a hair and makeup team), they said, "Well, that's a bit dramatic, don't you think?" 4. I misplaced my ID's and credit card during the course of getting married. I called the housekeeping team once and left a message, but got no response. I also spoke to someone at the front desk, who assured me they'd call me back with an update, but I got no response. Luckily, they were found, but what if they weren't? Would I just have to keep wondering and calling to get an update? Overall, I'm glad we were able to have ample space and natural lighting during the morning of our wedding, but I won't be staying here again.

I loved my visit (and extended visit) to this hotel. The rooms were spacious, clean, quiet, great bed, lovely view, most of the staff were very friendly and accommodating.

Our stay was just okay. Little things throughout our stay did make it so that I wouldn’t stay here again. The location was nice and close to transit and many restaurants. Staff were friendly. Those are the only positive things I can think of. Our first room had a used towel left from the previous guest. Very minor mistake but I don’t know how housekeeping could have left it as it was the first thing I saw when I entered the bathroom. The hotel and rooms are a little run down. Might need renovations soon. We were given a new room that was the same. Beds are okay. We got in late that night and I forgot to leave the do not disturb sign out. At 8 am we got a knock for housekeeping and as I made my way to open the door she was already opening it. That has never happened to me. Also there are no latches on the door. Had I been travelling alone that would’ve made me change hotels. The wifi also never worked for all 3 of us. Never had that happen at a hotel. Just overall not a hotel I would stay at again. If I had seen a review like mine I probably would’ve chosen someplace else.
