I made the reservation for our client Dr. András Kovács and payed the sum for his hotel room. On the spot he had to pay as well, therefore we payed twice for the room. We never received a refund, nor feedback about the matter.

I rarely write bad reviews, but for this time I need to make an exception. This hotel is the most woman unfriendly I've ever encountered. I wanted to book the Ibis closest to the train station. By accident I booked this Ibis. My train was 2 hours delayed, so I arrived close to midnight at the wrong Ibis. I asked if I could change the reservation, and they said no. For me, this was absolutely unacceptable. I was a woman, alone, at midnight, in a city I didn't know, with the area around the hotel filled with shady men hanging around. In the end I was forced to walk alone through the dark and filthy streets to the other hotel. I have rarely felt so unsafe, and disrespected by (male) hotel staff, who probably don't understand the full risks of sending a young women to walk alone in dark streets where she can easily be harassed or worse. The least thing that the staff could have done was to offer to call a taxi or negotiate a reduced rate. But in the long term one of these hotels must change their name. I bet I'm not the first person to make this mistake, and at some point a woman is going to be harassed or worse because of this unfortunate choice of hotel names. Everything else about the hotel was fine, but I don't care about warm showers or good coffee for breakfast if I'm fearing for my life. You must reconsider your rebooking policy for solo women travellers after 22pm, please.

I would not have chosen the Ibis Bremen, if i would have known that I have to let the reception know a day in advance till 7pm that I would like my room or at least the bins changed. I would have preferred to be deliberately informed about it in advance or at least by the reception desk. There was a banner next to the elevator, which I unfotunately did not notice till the third day — Finding a flyer on the bed that tells me to let them know that I wish a basic convenience for an hotel an evening prior was a surprise. Especially because I got disrupted accidentally while I was about to shower by housekeeping and they almost saw EVERYTHING of me. No blame to the housekeeping employees at all but I expected a bit more on a mangement and customer service level.
