Nice location: the middle of the Bandung city central and the famous mountain Delicious food: Great variety of breakfast. We had dinner on the rooftop restaurant. The panorama view of Bandung city from the window seat was beautiful. although we were a little disappointed that they didn’t have 2 of 3 in the menu what we tried to order, the alternative was tasty. Fun activities: There was free table tennis and billiards. I also saw them doing a cooking experience for little guests. Disappointing Spa: Only the thing we were totally not satisfied was, spa massage. I and my husband chose the same reflexology menu. I had good time with my therapist. On the other hand, the therapist assigned to my husband was not professional. It seems like he's an apprentice or someone who is only there for reception. At first, he seemed to be trying to imitate the hand movements of my female therapist, but by imitating, he couldn't reach any of the necessary areas on my husband's legs or feet. He gave up halfway through and just repeated the same boring, non-worth stroking movements. I was hoping that a male therapist would be more forceful, but sadly, my husband said he didn't feel any relaxation at all. It was a very disappointing experience, considering we paid the same amount. If I could receive at least half the compensation, I would be very grateful and satisfied. Totally, we were very happy to stay Grand Mercure Bandung. I highly recommend this hotel to my friends, but will suggest not to use Spa services.

This is the perfect hotel for a family staycation, but some room facilities could be improved or renovated, such as the shower, trash can, wall paint, and television, which is too small and not a smart TV. The location is excellent, and the swimming pool is great. However, the kids’ club needs repair, as many of the games are broken. The gym and spa facilities are very good.

The stay is overall very good, the staff is really accommodating us, and we get the upgrade rooms coming from the perks of Platinum status in Accor ALL in the peak holiday season. The room is very clean and the pool is quite big and suitable for having fun with the kids. The breakfast also very good and have a lot of variety of foods.
