Accessibility and amenities We booked this hotel thinking it would be easily accessible to main touristy attractions, as it was our first time in London. Despite it being close to public transport ~10 minute walk, it was not close to anything touristy. The hotel had good amenities, water bubbler, gym, cozy lounge, etc. despite it being dated. Room features and services Heating and cooling were terrible. We packed winter clothes and left out our summer ones, however we were sweating in our room. The heating/cooling system was centralised and we couldn’t even adjust to our preference. There were minimal sockets so we had to unplug the telephone just so we could charge our gadgets. Housekeeping was bare minimum, there was still dust and they didn’t bother cleaning/ replacing our mugs/glasses for the 3 nights we were there. The receptionist was mid, wasn’t friendly at all and didn’t even try. We didn’t feel the prestige associated with our Accor membership. No room upgrades, but we did get a (soaked) meringue which appeared to be sitting in our room as a “welcome gift”. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend for its price. It was quite pricey for a mid location and service.

The hotel is conveniently located in central London, with easy access to major public transport links for getting around the city. It’s a 10-minute walk from Borough Underground Station and also a 10-minute walk from Blackfriars Station. We stayed for two nights. The rooms are nicely decorated, clean, and equipped with all the amenities one might need. The staff are welcoming and courteous, providing relaxed and friendly service that offers good value for a break. Although we didn't use the bar or restaurant, I found the room service breakfast option extremely disappointing on the morning we ordered it and would avoid it on any future visits.

Dear Richard, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are pleased to hear that you found our location convenient and the rooms to your satisfaction. It is always our goal to provide a welcoming atmosphere and attentive service to our guests. We sincerely regret that the room service breakfast did not meet your expectations. Your comments are valuable, and we will ensure they are communicated to our culinary team. We continually strive to enhance our offerings and provide a delightful experience for all our guests. Thank you once again for your feedback. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back in the future. Best regards, Mercedesz Front Office Team Leader
