danhuz Friends getaway - TripAdvisor review

Original room keys didn’t work. Fixed without too much fuss but staff then emptied our room while we were out without trying to contact us. Returned to our room at midnight only to find key didn’t work again. Staff then claimed that we’d been booked into a room half a dozen doors down the hall, which we clearly hadn’t. Moving our gear might have been understandable had someone been booked into the room that we’d been assigned to but that was not the case. An absolute shambles.

In summary, you only get a bed and shower. Absolutely nothing else. There is no fridge, no toothbrush & toothpaste, no slipper and no internet (unless you sign up as a member).

We had a double room on the 3rd floor and was clean and in good condition. The staff was frienfly and the location of the hotel was great as we were going to a gig nearby. The only negative thing was the bed. It was rock hard and the pillows offered no support whatsoever. It woul have been more comfortable sleeping on the floor! Luckily it was only one night.
