I joined Accor Plus on November 27 and was pleasantly surprised to be able to book immediately under the member discount. The hotel also conducted a pre-check-in process, where they duly informed me about the upgrade status. Upon arrival, I was delighted to be given Accor Gold status right after checking in, along with an upgrade to the suite room. The suite was spacious, well-equipped, and offered a stunning view of Mount Merapi — a sight my wife and I truly enjoyed throughout our stay. 🏨 Room & Comfort - Originally booked the Executive Room, but was upgraded to the Suite. - The suite was large, comfortable, and beautifully appointed, though it felt a little old in style. - The spaciousness more than compensated, and the room was conveniently located just a few steps away from the lift. - There was no iron or ironing board in the room, but the staff were very helpful and promptly fetched one for us. - The view of Mount Merapi added a special touch to our experience. 📍 Location - Perfectly situated next to a mall, making it easy to walk over for shopping or dining. - Very convenient for guests who enjoy having amenities close by. 🛋️ Executive Room Expectation - Initially expected access to an Executive Lounge, but learned that the hotel does not have one. - Discovered that the Executive Rooms are newly renovated and refurbished, which makes them appealing for future stays. - Despite the absence of a lounge, the suite upgrade and Gold status recognition more than made up for it. 🏊 Facilities - Did not try other facilities during this trip. - Took a look at the swimming pool — decent size, with a lovely view of both the city and the mountains. 🔨 Renovation Note - The hotel is currently undergoing renovations, which explains the refreshed Executive Rooms. - Looking forward to trying these newly refurbished rooms on my next visit. ✅ Overall Impression A memorable and comfortable stay enhanced by the suite upgrade, Gold status recognition, and the breathtaking view of Mount Merapi. The location next to the mall is a big plus, and while the absence of an Executive Lounge was unexpected, the upgrade and service more than compensated. Excited to return and experience the renovated Executive Rooms in the future.
