Dear Mr K., Thank you for your feedback! We\'re very happy you had a great overall stay. You\'re right — while we currently don’t have self-service laundry facilities in-house, we do offer a laundry service that includes pick-up and return, so our guests don’t have to worry about a thing. We understand this may come with a higher cost, but it’s designed for maximum convenience. That said, we really appreciate your input and will look into better informing our guests about all available options nearby in the future. We hope to welcome you again! Dear guest, thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. We sincerely regret to hear about the difficulties you have encountered during your stay at Novotel Regensburg Zentrum. Please allow us to address your concerns. First and foremost, we apologize for any inconvenience and frustration caused by the situation regarding your room key and payment. It is never our intention to make any guest feel uncomfortable or unwelcome. Our team follows standard procedures when there are payment authorization issues. You have made 2 reservations at our hotel. Since the 1st reservation ended on 19th March 2025 and we had an outstanding balance for the room, a payment was required for this booking. Also, as the reservation ended in the system on 19th March, the room key did not work either. We have verified your credit card to allow full payment for both stays. However, the check of the card was not successful. We were unable to contact you (neither by phone or in the room) as you were not present in the hotel unfortunately. However, the staff have never entered the room and we would like to clarify that at no point it was the hotel’s intention to withhold your personal belongings; our actions were solely based on the standard security procedures of the hotel. This rule applies to all our guests; neither nationality nor personal preferences play a role here. Please rest assured that these policies are in place to ensure a smooth operation. Additionally, we would like to mention that all our employees and managers acted solely in the interests of our company and complied with the instructions of the management. We regret that you found the handling and regulations alienating and discriminatory. It is important for us to make it clear once again that all guests are welcome in our company at all times and that all our guests are treated equally and that our hotel guidelines are implemented equally for all guests, regardless of religion/nationality/gender/age or origin.
