I’m so glad with the stay becos both the indoor and onsen were fantastic. And my room was with nice Amanohashidate view.

Very good place to stay. Except pricing, We booked the Red Hot Price room 6 months in advance, but as the travel date got closer, the price dropped even lower than what we paid. It’s really disappointing.

We could not get over the view from the room, and also the special services the hotel had been providing to all the guests! There was a drink bar with the buffet dinner just like other hotels but the celection of alcohol was included!! This made my husband so happy!! This didn't finish just there. There was a lounge service provided by the hotel, once in the afternoon and another in the evening. All the guests were invited for this and again the selection of alcohol was provided along with tea/coffee and nibbles. The last amazing offer was bottles of champagne provided at the drink bar with the breakfast buffet. We stayed there for 3 nights and really enjoyed each meal with drinks. We have been visiting many hotels who provide a buffet but experiencing having alcohol wherever we go was really the first time and this certainly made the difference and a great feature to us.

It was rather noisy with kids running up and down the corridor as well as above my room.

Dear Guest, Thank you very much for staying at Mercure Kyoto Miyazu Resort & Spa. We sincerely apologize for the discomfort you experienced due to noise inside the hotel during your stay. We also apologize for the inconvenience caused by the crowd during check-in and the pre-check-in procedure. When many guests arrive at once, such as at the time of the shuttle bus arrival, we will review staff allocation and counter operations to ensure a smoother check-in process. Regarding the pre-check-in, this service allows you to skip the signature upon arrival; however, guests are still required to queue at check-in under the current system. As this is a standardized procedure across our hotel group, it is difficult to change it at a single property, but we will continue to explore ways to make it more effective and convenient. We will share your valuable feedback with the relevant departments and work toward improving our services. We sincerely look forward to welcoming you again in the future.
