I am leaving an honest review, which I prefer to keep private. Overall, it was a really comfortable stay and I hope to be back again inshaAllah! The room was clean and I appreciated that the room lacked bulky furniture, which made it feel pleasantly spacious. The location was also convenient, far enough from the congested areas near the Haram yet close enough to go there by walking. The food in the breakfast was also pleasant. However two main things I can remember from my stay, which were the only cons of my trip I would say. First being, I ordered pasta room service once, and while it tasted good, I found a small black spot (which looked like mold) on one piece, which made me question the hygiene of the food preparation. Another issue that made our stay uncomfortable was the fire alarm system. While I strongly support a strict non-smoking policy, every time a guest smoked in their room, an extremely loud siren blared across the entire hotel. As someone with an ear condition, this was particularly painful and harsh on my ears. Furthermore, the system automatically broadcast an evacuation message instructing everyone to leave their rooms. The first time it went off, it was within maybe our first hour of arriving at the hotel so it caused a lot of anxiety since I assumed there was an active fire. The hotel should at least have broadcasted a clear "all clear" message when it's just a false alarm so guests know they don't need to rush out and panic needlessly. My suggestion is to keep the hotel smoke-free, but find a different way to enforce it without triggering the full emergency alarm system. Save the main alarm for genuine emergencies—God forbid. By the end of our stay, the alarm went off so frequently that we simply normalized and ignored it. If a real fire had broken out, we wouldn't have evacuated because we'd have assumed it was just another smoking incident. So overall our stay was great elhamdulliah, and the staff were helpful and kind and supportive. And I appreciated the hotel even more when I went to my second hotel in mMecca, seeing a stark difference made me appreciate even further my stay at Novotel! Thank you for your service and I hope to be back soon, with all these issues fixed inshaAllah.

I recently stayed at Novotel Madinah for 4 days and it was a very pleasant experience. Breakfast: The breakfast buffet is very good. Wide selection every day — Arabic, continental, and Asian dishes. Eggs, breads, cheeses, fruits, juices and coffee/tea were all fresh. The team ensured everything was clean and restocked throughout service. Hotel: Rooms and common areas are neat and clean. Housekeeping does a great job daily. Location is also convenient for visiting Al Masjid An Nabawi. Staff: Courteous and quick to help with any requests. Overall, great value for comfort, cleanliness, and food. Would definitely stay again in Madinah.
