The hotel was close to the main station, but tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the main roads. Close to shops, restaurants and attractions. Was a great stay.

We stayed 7 days and had a fantastic stay at the hotel. The rooms are modern and spacious by Japanese standards. The food and beverage service was excellent. The hotel is well located. It’s just under 10min walk from the station but it’s very easy to navigate.

It is perfectly nice place to stay for discovering Kyoto. Many buses stops close by and main station is few minutes walk away, Uber is also available and affordable for those early morning starts. We got Privilege room, which was really nicely designed, clean and well manageable with two big suitcases. Bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was good with plenty of choices. Recommend arriving early as many tour groups tend to arrive at the same time and we saw people waiting in line for table. Afternoon happy hour for Privilege rooms was welcomed time to relax with free flow bar and some nibbles. In terms of service everyone was very helpful, kind and friendly. Overall we enjoyed our week stay in this hotel.
