The hotel is extremely well located. The room was well appointed and comfy. Having a full kitchen was great for our 4 day stay. We also found that being a little out of the CBD encouraged us to explore parts of Melbourne we had missed before. Fitzroy Gardens and the riverside areas are so close and memorable.

Arriving earlier than we anticipated I was hoping our room would be ready but was ok if it wasn't. As I am an accor member our room, wonderfully, was ready. So great to be able to put our things down, rest for a bit before we headed out again. The staff were kind, helpful and professional. The buffet breakfast was a highlight for us. Delicious and an excellent selection. Bedding was comfortable and we both slept well. Small things like the wireless charger next to the bed was an unexpected highlight. Our only issue was the tv. The reception was terrible and with modern tech a smart tv would have been a nicer experience. Overall we will absolutely be coming back and staying with Mantra in the future.

Stayed because it was close to the stadiums. Had a bad experience there in the past, but they made up for it this time. The TVs could do with updating, but the room was nice, quiet and comfortable. The people at reception were very polite and informative. The only thing I didn't get is why I had to leave my car keys at the front counter. I am guessing it was encase they had to move my car in their very small underground carpark, but the reason wasn't explained. Considering that vehicles are extremely expensive personal items, it felt a little like some sort of bond or insurance. Checkout was smooth and easy. The actual bond was returned within three days.

Great location. Very friendly and helpful staff. Very clean room. Nice & quiet. Comfy bed. Lovely breakfast. It would have been nice to have restaurant open for dinner, but that didn’t spoil our stay.
