Rooms are basic, but clean & perfect for a night & what we paid. It is approx 30 min walk from the Train station but a bus pass is included with the room. These are every 10 mins. The receptionist was very helpful & very welcoming.

Good things: breakfast is varied and ample, parking is convenient and relatively inexpensive, air conditioning is good, location is good but a bit of a walk to train station and your staff doesn't seem to know there is a West Chur station. Not so good things: get real hair dryers not the vacuum cleaner hose style (these went out int he 80's), bathrooms could use more towels and shower hoses never face the right direction, showers are going to need work in future. One one of my first nights, I went to wash some items in the bathroom and BLACK water came out!! Not acceptable! Bathroom countertops are old and stained.

The back of the hotel entrance is very confusing with huge McDonalds signs and drive through takeaway dominating the shared ground floor of this hotel building. Then the reception desk person insisted there were no rooms left at our pre booked and paid price! We finally asked to talk with the manager. She did explain that we were a lower priority for rooms since we used third party to pre book. Finally after much time we got a room without having to pay more.

Staff were fantastic, it is a little bit out of the town and the rooms are quite small but perfectly adequate for a couple days stay

I should have checked the location better as this hotel is not easily accessible from the train station on foot.the balcony would not be suitable with small child as low edges. No privacy on balcony, can see in rooms either side. Poor breakfast with many items low in stock and not replenished (e.g fruit basket with one bruised apple, water and juices not filled up)

We were only there for 1 night but the young woman on check in & bar was lovely there was a large group of people came in she was only on herself but managed it all very professionally & just got on promptly with checking them all in with a smile too . Breakfast was continental which was fine . The room was basic but was fine for short stay, bed & pillows were very comfortable .
