Mine D. Families - Confirmed reviews ALL

Ibis is usually my first choice but Ibis Chur was not as good as i had hoped. The room was big and well heated, which was great. But the building seemed very old, we had carry our luggage up the stairs for 4rd and 5th floors, the room was smelling of sewage.

Dear Mine Thank you very much for your review and feedback. If you compare our pyramid to the pyramids of Egypt, we are not that old. The fact that our elevator does not go all the way to the top is due to the pyramid shape. But you can say that you slept in a pyramid, which is not bad, right? Standard clean room, comfortable bed. Food and shopping close by. Town centre short bus ride. Given tourist card that allows free transport around town during your stay.

The hotel was very nice and clean and the staff were all amazing and very helpful. The views were spectacular and would highly recommend this to anyone. With the guest pass that is supplied made it very easy to get around the city and many discounts on loads of attractions. Room 1 09 is by far the best room for views

Frustrating stay

It was also very unpleasant for us as a hotel, especially because we could not do anything to improve the situation over the holidays. Unpleasant stay

Staff were friendly and the hotel seemed nice enough but there was a foul sulphuric smell upon arrival and around midnight there was someone on our balcony outside, we heard another guest shout at them and then saw someone run past our window across all of the balcony's outside, as they are all attached and have gates to access each one. 2 doors down there were a group of males who were all loud and smoking cannabis which stunk the whole room out, which we can only imagine it was them who were wandering around people's balcony's. As 2 females travelling alone we felt very unsafe and had to call reception in which a gentleman came up to have a look and went to speak to them. We do not know the outcome as we never heard from him after he left. A sleepless night later we checked out the following morning. An unpleasant stay in Chur put abit of a damper on our trip which had been fantastic so far.
