Dear Guest, We sincerely apologize that your stay did not meet your expectations. At the time of check-in, we genuinely believed that offering you a complimentary upgrade to an Executive Suite was a thoughtful gesture, particularly as an Accor member. We are sorry that the room did not provide the experience you were hoping for. As soon as we became aware of your concerns, we did our best to find an alternative solution. Although, due to the hotel’s occupancy, our options were limited, we were able to show you a suite with a view for your final night. Unfortunately, you preferred not to move rooms at that stage. We are truly sorry that your experience did not fully meet your expectations, especially as the rooftop hot tub was an important part of your decision to stay with us. At check-in we always ask our guests what time they would like it to be prepared, as it takes approximately one hour to fill. This procedure allows us to have the water fresh and ready at the time preferred by the guest, rather than leaving the tub filled and exposed on the open rooftop throughout the day. We understand that this may not have been what you expected, and we are sorry if it affected your experience. The maintenance works you mentioned, caused just a few temporary issues occurred during the day, which may have resulted in a limited interruption of the hot water service for a couple of hours. We have informed all our guests upon arrival, but we sincerely regret any inconvenience this may have caused. Please rest assured that we will certainly consider how we can improve our pre-arrival communication to make the experience in our Serenissima Suite even more seamless for our guests.
