The staff - from front desk to breakfast to cleaning - friendly and helpful. It was a decent size room - above average for Paris standards in this price category. Bathrooms are always small in Paris and that was the case here too. But very efficient use of space and super clean. I stayed for 5 nights and opted for room cleaning 3 days. They do a very good, thorough job. Breakfast was nice. Not a huge spread but the enough to keep you going in the morning. Fresh juice was a plus. Another good thing about the hotel is that they keep the coffee machine open for guests 24x7. You can have Espresso, Capuccino, Hot Chocolate, etc any time, free of cost. The neighborhood is not the best in Paris. Especially the main street in front of Gare del Est. But the hotel is a safe side street. Never had an issue during my stay. Please note that there is no safe deposit locker in the room.

Easy to find, near Gare de l'Est and bus stops. Relatively quiet as there is a church opposite. Friendly and efficient greeting at desk, lift worked. Room was as advertised and was clean with tattoo themed wall. Shower was great though fixing inadequate and needed to hold shower head. Breakfast excellent, especially the fresh orange juice. We were able to leave our luggage after checkout, all staff very helpful and approachable. I would stay here again. The building could do with a bit of tlc as there were a few dents in the wall and a slightly wobbly fixing.
