The hotel was clean. The staff were great but overall the stay from beginning to end was terrible. The first morning no heating or hot water. The second night the fire alarm went off. Cleaners left room door open and insecure. Got a drink in the bar and the lemonade was flat and lastly having to flush the toilet several times to clear the bowl. Overall I wouldn’t want to go back. It’s a real shame that we had such a bad experience.

Too many times at Ibis Crewe they try to fob us off with a twin room with the beds pushed together. This hotel have us exactly what we booked and the staff were very friendly.

We always stay at the Ibis in Barnsley when we visit, every single time we have visited, our stay has been lovely. The staff are always incredibly friendly, kind and helpful. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the amenities are fantastic. We won't even consider booking anywhere else now when we come to visit our family.
