went here with my friends and the hotel was amazing and very acomdating and nina at reception was amazing very very helpful. only thing is mantinece in the room needs much attention radiators neef bleeding ventilation does not work

We have just returned home after a fantastic boxing day carvery. Everything from beginning to end was fabulous. The staff were polite & helpful. The food was mouthwateringly delicious. We were made to feel welcome & at no time did we feel rushed to go. Will definitely be back next year

We upgraded because the upgrade description offered a room in a quieter part of the hotel and given the time of year we anticipated parties etc. We found ourselves in room 215 which was well appointed BUT directly above the bar and restaurant. We were unable to get to sleep until the disco and party ended. The following morning we transferred to a smaller room well away from the bar etc. The staff were very helpful and refunded of the upgrade The new room while away from noise was very cold. The radiator needed bleeding. I reported this to staff and was told a room heater would be provided and maintenance would deal with the radiator. Neither heater nor maintenance arrived. Again sleep was difficult because of the cold. The following morning I reported this to staff. We were out for the day and on return found the radiator fixed and heater in place. I am concerned that the promise of a room in a quieter part of the hotel is misleading and the service to our substitute room failed. We stayed for 3 nights, 2 of which were unpleasant. We have stayed at this hotel over 12 years but I have to say our disappointments with this stay mean we must consider alternatives. P. G.

Saturday nights are always noisy, limiting the public space. And the construction is poor, noise insulation low, between rooms and from the corridor. Aluminium sash windows a technical curio, but when fatigue breaks the latch, the top pane drops, and you get cold air plus the boy racers exhaust roar from the motorway that runs close by.

Good séjour at the hotel Unfortunately the sauna was out of action at the women changing room and we haven’t been told before traveling to the hotel, my partner was looking forward to use it as she has a back problem. Other than that good facilities such as swimming pool and steam room.
