Sheets were dirty and a few long B. hairs in the bed, i was tired so didn't moan as i got there late and had to be up early.

Great value for what I got

It's basic - let's be clear. At the rate I paid it was great value. I have at other times seen absurd rates on the signage outside which would be totally unjustified. The staff are excellent and helpful. However, the hotel is needing some TLC in places. Corridor carpets are looking dirty and stained. The card reader on the stairs door needs replacing as it is unreliable. They need to fix the door on the ironing room. Every time I tried to access it the card reader failed and I had to go back to reception to get them to open it. They then lock it open which is sensible but far better to get it fixed once and for all. I had a faulty light switch in my room but this was replaced the same day I reported it.

Quiet location and comfortable beds. Everything else was poor.

This hotel is very basic, and I expect more for £90. First the positives: beds, although very small (definitely not 3ft wide) were comfortable, and the location was quite quiet. On the downside: tiny room, no kettle, no hairdryer, TV didn't work, no bathroom. There was a shower cubicle directly in the bedroom which was also broken (no holder for the shower head so it had to be held in the hand) and leaked all over the bedroom floor. I wouldn't stay again.
