A modern room…. You get what you get, bathroom is a pod, the wardrobe open plan and decoration painted on walls. The swinging table lamp and bear wired bed lamps all a bit wacky… Overall we had a great time with a great breakfast, but these sort of rooms are for the younger generation.

The hot was well located for where I needed to be for my visit. However, the bathroom was my main concern as it smelled badly in the mornings and evenings. The sink has cigarette burns on it which presumably have been there since prior to the smoking ban. The staff were very friendly and helpful but not always around.

I paid around £320 for 2 sleepless nights. Nice enough hotel, food fine, bedroom and bathroom fine. Should come with a warning, city centre hotel, noisy into early hours outside so earplugs essential
