This is a standard hotel with a lot of standard rooms equipped and cleaned to an acceptable standard. The two things which stand out are the excellent location - great for Manchester city centre, train stations, China Town and the Gay Village - and the friendly staff at reception. Well, there isn't really a reception desk, there's a member of staff in an Ibis t-shirt with a mobile phone, but they seem to be able to do everything with it! My only criticism is the extortionate cost of staying here on a Saturday night.

The staff are super friendly but I didn’t expect that the room keeper still cleans my room with the sign hanged.

Room was tiny, looking straight out onto a brick wall 6ft away. Wasn't the cleanest. Have slept on softer floors. Pillows were rock hard as well. Blood stain on my daughters bed sheet, which we only spotted in the morning. Called reception twice for an iron, no answer.
