We absolutely loved staying at the Sofitel Marseille Vieux Port for one night prior to setting sail on a cruise. All the staff at the hotel were extremely warm and welcoming and in particular, a special thank you to Anna who was extremely helpful in making sure that our short stay at the hotel and in Marseille was a delight. We were thrilled to find out that we had received an upgrade to a room with a view overlooking the old port of Marseille and wow, what a fantastic view to wake up to in the morning. During our brief stay, we were able to enjoy cocktails and antipasti in the Dantès Skylounge, where the atmosphere was stylish yet comfortable, and watching the lights from the old port below created the perfect setting to relax. In the morning, after having spent the night in one of the comfiest beds that we've slept in for a long time, we had a lovely buffet breakfast served in the Trois Forts restaurant which also had a selection of dishes that could be ordered from the menu. The panoramic view from the restaurant was spectacular and it was a great start to our day. When we visit again we will make sure that we book the restaurant for a romantic dinner one evening. We are so pleased that we decided to stay at this hotel, our only regret was that we didn't stay for more than one night. We definitely intend to return to Marseille and have every intention of staying at the Sofitel Marseille Vieux Port again to make more use of their facilities and it's excellent location. Thanks to all the staff who have helped make it a lovely place to stay.

Staff are very attentive and friendly. Rooms are very comfortable and well maintained. View is beautiful ( port ) Location is superb. Hotel resturant offers great food selection and panoramic view is breath-taking. Definitely worth visiting.
