One of the worse hotels I have stayed in, in a long time. The key cards never work. Advertised wrongly as the they have a pool and sky bar and toiletries in the bath room. It is very basic. They have all the amenities but nothing is open. Not even the bath tub in the suites are functioning. To add to it the staff are quite unfriendly. Location is not that great either. I paid its 200 euros a night not good value for money either.

Please accept our sincerest apologies for any inconvenience caused. We understand your disappointment regarding our facilities on our rooftop, however, the information about the works was indicated on all websites during booking process. Barcelona is knowing a severe drought and for this reason, the authorities have been obligated to take action, and one of them is about the use of swimming pool. This is why the hotel choose this period to do the improvement works, in addition of the opening of the swimming pool which is on the 10th of May, when the weather is more enjoyable and that it can heat it. However, we are deeply sorry for the inconvenience caused. Regarding the functionality of the bathtub, we understand the importance of providing a fully operational and enjoyable experience for our guests. But again, because Barcelona is knowing a severe drought and local authorities have taken measures to prevent it from getting worse, we have to remove the bath stopper to encourage people to take a shower rather than a bath and therefore to use less water. However, you could still ask the reception to give you a bath stopper. We thank you for your understanding. About the toiletries in the bathroom we would like to let you know that in the suites, you can find extra amenities but also that the hotel is following a sustainable regulation. One of the focus is to collaborate with Rituals to offer you quality and only necessary products and therefore avoid monodosis products. However, if you are really in need of anything feel free to ask at the reception. Furthermore, we deeply regret to hear that you found our staff unfriendly. Hospitality and guest satisfaction are our top priorities. There is a few new members and interns in training in our staff which can explain the lack of professionalism. However, the information has been communicated to our employees to reinforce this point so that it doesn´t happen anymore in the future. We are sorry that you did not find our location accommodating as we are not far from the metro Glories or even from the Sagrada Familia or the beach by foot. Once again, we apologize for the inconveniences you experienced during your stay. Your feedback is invaluable to us as we strive to continuously improve the guest experience. Staff was wonderful and very attentive. The room was great and well maintained. Unfortunately, we were unable to access the roof top terrace since it was under maintenance. Look forward to our next visit.

Excellent food, the staff was very friendly, helpful and delightful. The waiter Roger had everything under control. Paella from chef Ferran is something you must try.

The pullout sofa bed had pee stains, the sink drain was broken, the drawer was broken. We couldn’t use the hot tub or pool because it was too cold. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel for this price.

This is the first time to bring our kid a bit further away from home, Novotel provides all! From the bath tub for little one, to an amazing kids' play area. We all have a great rest after a long walking tour in the city. We will definitely come back again! And special thanks for Ivan from Reception to ask the taxi driver in the queue for child seat! most appreciated!
