This is the second time I have stayed at the Novotel Madrid Centre and I hope I never am put up in this hotel again. While facilities are good and the daily breakfast is sumptuous, their wifi and general hospitality and service is just awful..the staff are just complacent and don't care about looking after their guests. They simply don't respond to service queries and rudeness is the order of the day

Front desk didn't know how to generate the invoice

Hotel front desk weren't able to generate the invoice. This meant I needed to check with my work travel folks and return to the hotel who were then able to provide an invoice. This resulted in time loss.

I stayed at this hotel for the RocknRoll Madrid Marathon and it was great how much they took care of runners. They set aside breakfast in a separate room and offered a pasta dinner (though I did not partake in that). The room was also a good size.
