Needs attention to detail

We have stayed before for an overnight spa date so were disappointed when little but essential things were not available or not attended to. We could have parked much closer to where the room was located but weren’t told this at arrival so walked the entire length of the hotel with cases. One teabag in the room on arrival, the room could accommodate 4 people. On asking at reception for more we were told they had run out ! We were given some later on when they had sent someone to the shop ! A tray of food was in the corridor on our arrival (3pm) and we bumped into the young lad taking it away when we went to bed (10pm) There were supposed to be robes in our room but we had to hire them at the spa. The spa area has changed and feels more like a public pool than a special treat. Quite a number of items weren’t available for dinner which we’d pre booked. All in all it showed poor housekeeping, you should never run out of long life items such as teabags. To top it off we had a drunk pensioner rallying round the corridors on her mobility scooter at stupid o’clock !!

Rooms were quite good, room was spacious and very clean. Breakfast was 10/10 and the staff were super friendly at breakfast. But the food for the evening meal was horrendous, presentation horrible, taste even worse. It’s never been Asian or Mexican food in its life. What’s ever worse is the waitresses were so unprofessional, really couldn’t care less about any customers and were quite childish. Don’t waste money on the evening food
