The bed's quality was very poor.

I am sorry that your experience did not meet your expectations; please allow me to express my sincerest apologies. But I am surprised by your remark, because the ibis beds, called "sweet beds", are imposed by the chain and are very popular with our customers! This is the first time that this remark has been made to me, and I admit that I don't know how to respond with anything other than that... again my apologies! Room very small and very hot

Thank you for taking the time to write a few lines of comments following your stay with us, at ibis Lille Center Grand Palais. My apologies if you were too hot in the room But... I think it was enough to turn off the heating, possibly open the window. In fact, it was still very cool at night 10 days ago. Hotel is conveniently located for Lille Europe, reception staff were very friendly and helpful. We had a double room on the 7th floor which was small by European standards and really only suitable for one night as it had very limited storage space for any clothes. The floorspace around the bed was so tight that our luggage couldn't easily be used as extra storage. The bathroom was actually quite large in comparison and had a decent size shower cubicle. We stayed in spring and although the night time temperature was quite low our room was still 21.5°C overnight and the cooling option on the air-conditioning hadn't been switched on for the summer season, we opened the window - but obviously that brings in traffic noise. Overall the sound isolation in the room was excellent - with the window closed. The breakfast was very good for an Ibis, the quality and selection was better than I have had in other Ibis hotels.

There was an alarm that went off in the middle of the night. No service recovery was done.

Room was incorrect wehn we got there no single beds and only one double bed they moved us to a different room This had 1 bed and one double our booking confirmed “ Spacious room with twin beds and a large double bed” the reception said they didn’t have this room available in the hotel. There was also mould on the bathroom celing

However, I admit I don't really understand because there were two of you, you reserved a room for four, and finally you got a room for 3...but being two that was enough, right?
