Lately, we always choose Mercure when in Agrate. We like it because of its location, clean rooms, friendly staff. The free big parking is a plus. We appreciated that at check in was offered us a superior room compared to the one we booked. We hope to come back soon!

This was a hotel that we didn’t end up staying in as there was an error in booking. The date was wrong which we realised as soon as we checked the booking over and despite raising this immediately with the hotel, they refused to cancel the booking. The dates reverted to the current date when we altered another information box. We were already staying at an Ibis in the same city and could not use the room. The receptionist at the Ibis did call the hotel on our behalf but was unable to help. We emailed the Mercure and they did agree to move the booking but requested an additional 190 euros!

Dear Alison, Mercure Hotel and Ibis hotel are part of same chain but different category, standards and different range of prices. To stay at our hotel on your dates was needed a difference to pay due to the biggest event in our location as Grand Prix. Paying an Accor hotel doesn't mean that you can be moved wherever you wish with the same payment you've done to a specific hotel. Each Accor hotel is managed by different people/companies and payment of a guest reservation is not common. We confirmed you the availability requested by communicating our price, we don't handle the payment that you made in the other hotel.
