Room with broken blinds and hot water system

We had a bad experience in Ibis Basel. They gave us one of the worst rooms they had, assuming their other rooms had at least closing curtains or blinds. They were aware of the problems with the room before we checked in. They sent someone to fix it the second day, but it didn't get fixed. Hot water system was terrible. The water wasn't mixing properly, so we'd get hot water, then suddenly cold water, then hot again, making it impossible to get a proper shower. Before, when we booked from Accor website, we'd get great rooms. On this trip, every single time, we got a room that had problems.

There was a bunk bed on top of our bed. We both hit our heads while organizing luggage.

Front desk is efficient. But: No bedside plugs for my breathing machine. No drawers to put my clothing. No luggage rack.

We stayed for 2 days (initial booking was for 1). Loved the location. This was our first time staying in an Ibis property, and we really liked how friendly the staff were. The room was compact, but all awesome value for the price, and well equipped with all the essentials. The bunk bed was a very cool touch!
