We had a great stay, booked this hotel as we had come over to visit family. Hotel location was great! Lobby area was great, clean and tidy. We knew there were no tea/coffee facilities in the room but we frequented the lobby and it was always stocked and tidy! The bar prices were a little steep so we didn’t use these as there was a Tesco express over the road. They did a pizza and chips deal 24/7 for £13 which was great if you needed to eat late. We didn’t use this so can’t comment on taste etc. The room was clean and tidy. Comfy bed- although only one pillow and one (relatively small) towel. Staff were friendly and helpful. Corridors and shared spaces were clean and smelt really nice! Our only concern was that the toilet and shower and wash basin were all seperate. This meant there was no privacy, how did we get out the shower wet, get dry and get clothes on as the shower was in the middle of the room. I guess as a couple this wouldn’t be too bad but as friends it was a little bit too much! Even the shower door was glass and you could clearly see through it, the toilet door had a gap at the bottom, no lock and a gap up the side meaning there was definitely no privacy for using the toilet.
