The hotel is very nicely decorated, the staff is quite helpful and friendly. It is very good that they have a restaurant directly on the hotel, so even if you can't order "room service" you can call them with your order and they will call you back when it is ready. The rooms are clean and comfortable as well and with a good amount of natural light.

The ibis Styles Carouge is in a good location - walking distance to restaurants and even the lake. Tram and bus stops make the hotel very convenient. Staff is very friendly. Check-in / out is fast and efficient! Rooms are basic, but clean. The breakfast offers a surprisingly good variety of breakfast food (incl. fresh fruit salad). Only negative is linked to Ibis Management (inflexibility). Got myself take-away Sushi that I wanted to enjoy on the terrace with a beer (bought from the hotel bar). Despite the terrace having plenty of open tables, I was told I would need to eat my sushi in the hotel room. Next time I will have my Sushi at the Sushi restaurant and NOT buy anything from the hotel bar.

It was a very good stay. I really like breakfast and salads in the menu. Would be a 10 but I had a bit of trouble with controlling temperature in the room.
