This hotel is in a great location right in the middle of the main shopping street Váci Utca on the Pesta side of Budapest. Check-in was quick with very friendly staff. The upgrade to a Superior Privilege room was also a lovely surprise and so was a room with air conditioning! Our only disappointment was that the bed mattress was very hard and the pillows also hard and flat, and our room had a very ‘musty’ smell which we presumed was coming from the air condition filter vent. Overall a good and well located hotel.

Service was very good and polite; room was clean - lounge had only very essential offering (no sandwiches or snacks, no beer or wine). Back entrance to the hotel was little bit spooky same as the view into the courtyard of the hotel.

Enjoyed the stay with my partner. The free upgrade upon our check-in was a lovely touch. The Superior Privilege room was large, which we loved. The hotel staff were pleasant too. Location was good - near essentials like money changers and stores for water; good mix of shopping and F&B options around; couple mins walk away from a train station.

This is the second year running we have visited this hotel, booked as a package with Jet2. It is easy to get to from the airport by bus, and well positioned in the shopping district for easy access to river, bridges and sights. The choice of items at the breakfast buffet, was very good and catered for every taste. The staff were very helpful and polite and the room had all you would want for a first class stay. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it.
