A good stay from start to finish - nice rooms with everything we needed, and a great location for multiple Metro lines. Nice staff and great to have free coffee and mineral water in reception. We were celebrating an anniversary so my parents' room was upgraded which was a nice touch.

We stayed for four nights for a family trip to Paris. Great location near multiple Metro lines and only a few minutes to the Canal Saint Martin. All our rooms were well appointed and had everything we needed - the honey toiletries, chilled water and little chocolates were a nice touch - and it was really kind of the staff to upgrade my parents’ room as it was a special occasion. There was also free coffee and mineral water in reception and the staff were welcoming and helpful.

Good location, tiny room

Check in guy was very friendly but others were indifferent, not least to the building works that appeared at 8.30 on Monday. This is not really a four star hotel and shouldn’t be advertised as such. The double beds aren’t - they are just two beds pushed together and as such are very uncomfortable.

The staff were all friendly and welcoming and one went above and beyond and found me some honey at 1am for a hot drink to soothe my cough. The location was convenient, and the room was fine for our short stay, although there wasn't much space for 2 people and their baggage, and we travel light! My bed was comfortable but my daughter said hers wasn't. We didn't try the breakfast. I'd have to agree with other reviews I've seen and say this is not what I expect of 4*/Mercure, but, as I said, the staff were brilliant and the location/room met our needs.
