Room was decent, although very small toilet and shower facilities directly accessed from main bedroom. A lack of decent customer service - upon arrival, no greeting at all (no acknowledgement by receptionist who was typing away on computer). After a few minutes of standing there the receptionist just said "surname?" And that was it..... Hotel needs to remember they are in a service driven industry.... Just because you're a budget provider doesn't mean you should cut back on customer service skills.

First time staying at this hotel and it was an absolute fantastic stay. The staff couldn't have been lovelier or more hospitable. Especially Oksana (?) Who remembered what type of tea I have from Saturday evening when I first ordered a cup. Very impressive. Travelled here for Cardiff Pride for the weekend. The room was really comfortable, very different layout in regards to the bathroom facilities haha but it was still comfortable and we were only in there to sleep and get ready anyway. It was clean on arrival and the cleaning staff kept us supplied with fresh towels etc. The breakfast was very good, self service buffet with juice, hot drinks, food etc and the spread was continental but it was all delicious and very good range and quantity. Plus its 6 quid if you book the day before. I would absolutely stay here again if I needed a hotel in Cardiff in the future.
