We stayed for six days..twice the room was left dirty and sheets not changed. I was disappointed that there was no coffee corner in room. Staff were kind and friendly. Breakfast was nice and varied. Location is good.

I had an issue with the window in my room, it would not close properly. I called the reception and the person there was very shortly up and helped me close the window. He also helped me with the invoice. Very helpful staff, super polite. Yet, in my room there was another problem. After a while, when the lights are on, there is a strange static buzzzzzzzzzzzzzz noise. I had to switch off all lights to stop it and use only the night lights.

Basic hotel with very basic restaurant facilities and extremely poor internet service.

Dear Mr. R., I would like to thank you very much for your stay in our hotel and for taking the time to tell us about your impressions and experiences. We do everything we can to offer you the best possible service quality during each of your stays. Your opinion is therefore of great interest to us. I am very sorry that you did not feel 100% comfortable in our hotel and that you booked the room in the ibis Hotel Köln Messe with different expectations. The rooms are an ibis standard size of 16.4 sqm including the bathroom and are equipped with all ibis standards, including the "Sweet bed by ibis" sleeping comfort. You will not find a kettle, refrigerator or other amenities in any German-speaking ibis hotel room, nor will you find mineral water; instead, we have our hotel bar open for you 24/7. We do not have a restaurant on site either. You also complained about the WiFi speed in the hotel. If the free WiFi from our provider M3Connect is not enough for you, you still have the option of booking the powerful high-speed connection for an additional charge. This is always displayed on the landing page when you log on to the Internet. If you didn't like the ibis hotel product as a whole, why not try our Mercure Hotels, the Novotel, Pullman or MGallery Hotel on your next trip to Cologne?
