Dear Sir/Madam, I have been a loyal customer of your hotel chain for several years and regularly book stays at your hotels. I had a reservation at Mercure Hotel Offenburg am Messeplatz from August 9, 2024 to August 10, 2024 for two adults and one child, which was fully prepaid in advance. Mercure Hotel Offenburg am Messeplatz Reservation Number: NJVDJLPL Reservation Dates: From Friday 09 August 2024 to Saturday 10 August 2024 Upon check-in on August 9, 2024, the receptionist demanded an additional payment for an extra bed. Despite my objections, stating that the room had already been prepaid, the hotel staff insisted on the payment. I had no choice but to pay an additional 21 euros. I believe this charge was unjustified and request a refund of the overcharged amount of 21 euros to my bank card: 44… 7902 ANNA K. I am attaching the payment documents for your reference. I am extremely disappointed with this experience. I hope this is not the policy of Accor, but rather a mistake on the part of the specific hotel staff. Sincerely, Anna K.

Good service but the hotel room can't be locked

The room we stayed in could not be locked from the inside. The cleaning lady opened our room's door while we were still sleeping.

The pool wasn’t working which I totally understand as these things happen. It would of been nice to have been informed prior to arrival. We were also told we had to pay a charge for our child (we had booked him on the original booking) after a bit of back of forth I was told I would not be charged for the extra (which I had already paid for! Again at check out, I was told I had to pay for this after explaining again I had previously paid for a child when booking.
