Basic hotel but with spacious room, walkable distance to main train station and metro as well as the city centre. Supermarket right underneath the hotel. Receptionist courteous and helpful. Good value for money.

Having arrived at 3pm and reception not open, we were a little confused what to do with the parking. You can imagine how disappointed we were upon going back to the car literally mins after leaving it to have a parking ticket. The warden was there and we explained we were staying in the hotel and showed him our confirmation. This did not help. Fearing being towed away, we stayed in the car until reception opened at 5pm when the receptionist (sorry I don’t know her name) sorted this ticket out. She also provided lots of support including a kettle and mugs. The bed was really comfortable. The room small but adequate. Hotel in a good location for our event.

Well located, clean and the staff is very polite. Unfortunately the building is "tired", while all fittings etc are of very good conditions the fixtures look very tired, there are cracks on the wall strips etc. The biggest red flag is the parking, if you arrive after the reception is closed you need to make sure you fill in small piece of paper situated beside the check in machine and leave it behind the windscreen of your car, otherwise you can count on parking penalty. This is not in anyway explained at the time of check in or on any comms from the hotel, which is a shame.
