Since Ibis Koblenz asked for my review I will give it to them: I usually rate a hotel by the way I am greeted upon entering the hotel. In this instance, I was greeted by a toothless front desk clerk. If he is that neglectful of his teeth, of what else is he neglectful? We were hoping we wouldn’t see him anymore; we considered moving elsewhere, but “brand loyalty” dictated, until: The second item is the shower: I was able to shower only once, because my warm shower became instantly scalding, conceivably because someone in another room flushed the toilet. The individual(s) who installed the plumbing should be made to reaccomplish it so water temperature isn’t affected by flushing elsewhere. We have stayed at Ibis hotels in Innsbruck, Drezden, Wroclaw, Luxembourg, but this was the worst ever. The image the “greeter” created prevents me from recommending this hotel to anyone; I wouldn’t even admit to anyone that I know of its existence. Shall I go on? - You may not want to publish this, just keep it internal, and make the correction. I've used Accor for 20 years, and hate to see one hotel reflect badly on the entire chain.

Within easy walking distance to all shops, restaurants, etc. within 5 min, with underground parking as well. There are only 3x things that could be improved on: 1) Initial check-in to hotel is confusing since there is no parking in front, with limited street side parking opportunities before one gets access to underground parking 2; better signage would be cool) The TV screen size is same as ibis budget, not standard ibis hotels, so that was not ideal 3) The shower always leaks, but same layout at other ibis do not...

Such a good location when arriving by car as there is parking directly beneath the hotel with access internally by lift. The hotel is within easy reach of the Hauptbahnhof and the bus depot 6 minutes away and the old town center also within 6 minutes walk. The only thing to disappoint was that we could not have a cup of tea in the morning without having a breakfast at £15 per person.
