Was a brief stay for two nights room is adequate , can’t believe though that the restaurant is only open for breakfast and nothing else

Good location, just a few mins walk to the Queen Victoria Market and the University of Melbourne. Clean and quite inside the room. Staff are helpful in general. We reserved a one-bed room suite with kitchen for 5 nights. But the kitchen is under equipped and couldn't cook at all. Only microwave is provided. The knives are not sharp at all. We couldn't even make lemon tea as the knife is not sharp enough to cut a lemon! This is the most disappointing part of our stay.

Thank you, my room was nice and clean. But it was so very hot and I could not turn down the temperature at all. After the first night, I asked for help and was told that maintenance would check. But it was the same on the second night (only two nights stayed) and I slept hardly at all on either night , it was so uncomfortable - hot and airless. Also, I stayed at Therry Street Mercure a few weeks ago and thought this would be much the same, but the bathroom amenities at the Ibis were poor by comparison.
