Breakfast ran out of eggs at 0910 and weren’t replenished, and only one pain au chocolate left, Nutella jar was almost completely empty.

Having had a painful journey from Calais the ibis Château-Thierry was just what we needed, A warm welcome, tranquillity and comfort, unfortunately I had not realised what a little gem this hotel was to be although only used as a stopover on our journey south. Had I have known I would have stayed longer as our next stopover was nothing like as good and had to be endured for two nights.
