The rooms were adequate and the breakfast excellent. Just s point why are the soap and shower heads so, so high. I could hardly reach mines. Not everyone is 6 foot tall.

When we arrived, the person at the desk barely acknowledged us. They checked us in without any explanation. One of the lifts was not working, yet there was no mention of this. We felt like an inconvenience when they had to leave the desk to provide us with support. As there was no way of making hot water in our room, we inquired about getting some, but we were told this would be an extra cost. As a silver member - we did not even receive our complementary drinks. If making guests feel unwelcome is the goal - then this establishment has nailed it. As a three-star establishment - this one is on an outdated and unloved site. Apart from the reception - looks can be deceiving.

The hotel is at a walking distance from Lille's two train stations and from the Vieux Lille neighborhood. The room was good for good for the price.
