However, the villa room 934 definitely needs a facelift. The furniture, including the dishes, is outdated. Some appeared cracked and unkempt. The stove appeared to have accumulated a lot of grease and dirt on the inside. Internet service was very poor when it rained,

Your front desk check in service is terrible. Those young girls are unpleasant and unfriendly. Nothing is fully explained at checkin. Otherwise, the property was very nice. The amenities were very nice. The other staff were nice outside of the front desk worker's

The room was nice. I enjoyed our two bedroom. I thought it was nice to have a little grassy area and view of the boats. Lots of restaurants that are very close. We visited the area beaches, islands and mountains. Very beautiful.

I was not satisfied that the Club did not provide bellhop services for guest arriving to assist carrying luggage and escorting them to their assigned locations, considering all the stairs and distance of some of the rooms. Getting around the premises required you to have a car or having to rent golf carts. One of the restaurant, La Pescaria) on the water carried an horrible smell. Unfortunately, the beaches were horrible.

In villa #937 there were roaches, villa not too clean, TV out dated, security service was very annoying making the guest lower the music that everybody was enjoying. In general villas need a rush update. I have been going to Club Cala since 1983 Also there’s a big room in the dolfin pool area that should be converted into a game room with pool table, pin pong, etc versus a storage room that doesn’t add value to the stay. Royal Park needs a more creative vision.

Updates necessary. Oven and ice maker didn'T. work. No mixing bowls or pans for oven. Pans for stove in poor condition. No kettle or nice to haves that I see at other RCI locations ie salt, pepper, popcorn, etc. Couch and dining chairs need cushions replaced. Beds only had 1 pillow per person. Most accommodations have two. Soap dispensers were empty. Lacked privacy as there was no curtain to cover frosted glass door. Early check in was smooth, but staff lacked personality and friendliness. Parking rates were absurd especially on top of resort fee. No place to park during checking or loading/unloading. Property not accessible for those with disabilities.

The area is really beautiful and has a lot of potential, but the property could benefit from improved parking arrangements. We stayed in room 1014C, and unfortunately, the room appeared to need some repairs and updating. The room door is quite old and makes a lot of noise when closing. The couch was also worn and appeared to be past its prime. Additionally, there was an unusual smell in the room that made the stay less comfortable. Overall, the room did not appear to have been updated in quite some time. With some renovations, newer furniture, and general maintenance, the property could be much more enjoyable and better match the beauty of the surrounding area.
