I have been coming to this hotel for many years. The rooms are spacious and comfortable although I would say looking a bit tired now. The air con in the room wasn't cool enough, neither was the fridge. The pool area is fantastic . It was better when one pool was adult only as that was a much more peaceful experience. Breakfasts great as always. Staff friendly and helpful. Would be nice if there was some musical entertainment in the evenings as it's a bit soulless in the evenings. A live singer or band would be so welcome.

This was my second time at the hotel, I first visited when it was under Anantara. Seems it’s now geared for mass families and the service levels have dropped.

There were pockets of excellence, food and service at breakfast and evening meals the ground floor restaurant. Reception were efficient, the spa treatment was one of the best I have had in a long time. However we had two days without face/hand towels as were told they had none available despite being removed from our room (were hanging up). Sugar and milk not replaced and had to ask for water. There needs more resource and staff round the pool, waiter service was practically non-existent at the adult pool. They looked stressed. Also towel shortage for sun loungers. Its not the same standard of an Anantara and hope the hotel finds it groove and consistency of a five star hotel service.

Nice room- food offering apart from breakfast was poor. Only the fish restaurant available. The pool bar offering was disappointing due to the chef finishing at 17-50pm while the hitel info told us it would close at 19-00pm
