Upon arrival l, the lobby was well kept, front desk very friendly, inviting bar and eating area to meet me. One in the elevator and up to the room it all went south. Room was more like a cell than a comfortable room away from home. Shower was out of soap indicative of a lack of ownership at the basic customer interface. Room is generally run down, hard mattress and 6 channels, all Portuguese language, plus Netflix access. Rooms need a facelift and room services need to be detail oriented for me to ever return.

The pool area was under renovation at the time, but it is now fully operational. The hotel reopened in 2025. We have renovated the rooms, but we have an extensive schedule of works and renovations, such as gym renovations, permanent linen replacement, air conditioning control replacement and maintenance, TV upgrades, and room updates.
