Extremely relaxing holiday! It is highly appropriate for both couples and families with kids. The coast is located in a natural, protected bay, so the sea has no waves and is very warm perfect for anyone who hates cold water! The beach itself is spacious, offering plenty of room for swimming, and features a nice mix of pebbles and sand. However, the resort’s terrain is very steep, so I wouldn’t recommend it to people with mobility issues. While buggy service is available, it only helps to a certain extent, and you won't want to wait for a buggy every time. The rooms are very large, exceptionally clean, and equipped with everything you need. The staff is extremely attentive, friendly, and very dog-friendly! While their English level isn’t always perfect, it is perfectly fine for regular communication. Additionally, the hotel is only a 5-minute drive from the village of Syvota, where you can find many restaurants and small shops. Areas for improvement: Entertainment: I wish there was at least some occasional activity in the hotel, like live music. The hotel is literally dead after sunset so we had to go to Syvota every evening.. Dining: The menu needs a bit more variety. While there is always at least one type of meat available, staying here for 10 days like we did makes the options feel a bit boring and repetitive. The same goes for breakfast, though the high quality of the Greek food makes it much less annoying!

When we arrived, the entrance door to the hotel was locked; we kept pressing the buzzer, but nobody answered until a staff member luckily walked by and opened it for us with their code. We had booked an expensive premium room with a private pool, but unfortunately, the management did not match the price. Most notably, for a high-end room of this cost, it was incredibly disappointing that breakfast was not included in the price at all. Furthermore, the room Wi-Fi was non-existent, the shower took forever to get hot water, and the gym water dispenser was completely empty. Our room was also far away and no buggy was available, so the poor porter had to carry all our heavy luggage on foot under the scorching heat. On a positive note, the cleaning staff and the porters themselves were exceptionally polite and did their absolute best despite the hotel's poor organization.

The hotel facilities were beautiful, and the breakfast was very good. The room was also nice; however, cleanliness was not at the level expected. Under the bed, I found hair and used napkins, which I told to the reception. The welcome at reception was Ok, but it was not as warm or professional as the service I have experienced at other 5 Star hotels. On the first night, we could not sleep because of mosquitoes, I assume the hotel can do better with disinfecting the area. The next day I asked for a mosquito spray at the reception, and yet there were mosquitoes also the other days. The restaurant service during lunch was so slow. On one occasion, we waited about 45 minutes for a shared kebab platter. The food we tasted was of a good quality but the selection was limited and not even a soup option available for kids. The beach itself was beautiful; however, the surrounding area in the sandy beach was not properly maintained and the sunbeds were very dirty. Unfortunately, the staff did not meet the standards one would expect from a Mövenpick hotel. On the last day of my stay, I experienced an unpleasant incident regarding the sunbeds, due to poor organization and a lack of a clear sunbed policy. A hotel guest approached me in an aggressive manner after a beach staff member had removed her belongings and assigned the sunbed to me. I never expected to find myself in such a situation. I discussed the matter with the hotel manager, who simply apologized and told me he was going to have a talk with the beach staff member. Sadly, this incident completely ruined my vacation and left me with a disappointing final impression of the hotel.

The beach was beautiful, but a bit small. The pool very good, staff very professional, chocalate hours a smart and elegant alternative, very good especially for kids. Room very comfortable, over all the conditions very good. Dinner menu was limited, two nights in a row the same menu, and having to reserve a specific time for dinner was a little un comfortable for vacation. Also having to wait for dinner.
