The beach can be better maintained. For instance, the sunbeds were not very clean, the umbrellas were too small and not providing enough shade, the service at the beach was poor. There was no entertainment for kids. You can organize at least yoga calsses.

Your hotel is undoubtedly blessed with an exceptional location. The natural setting is absolutely stunning, with beautiful scenery, crystal-clear waters and wonderful views that immediately create a sense of escape and relaxation. Our room was fantastic — spacious, comfortable and with a truly spectacular view. In terms of location, surroundings and accommodation, the hotel has all the ingredients to offer an outstanding five-star experience. However, throughout our stay, we couldn't escape the feeling that something was missing. The main issue was the level of service and overall hospitality. While the staff were generally pleasant, the professionalism, attentiveness and consistency were not always at the level one would expect from a high-end five-star resort. At this level, it is the small details, anticipation of guests' needs and polished service that make the difference, and unfortunately these elements were often lacking. The biggest disappointment was the food and beverage experience. The restaurants did not match the quality of the property itself. Both the quality and presentation of several dishes were below what we would expect from a five-star hotel, and the restaurant concepts and spaces could be much better organized. In such a beautiful and romantic location, we expected to be able to enjoy an elegant, quiet dinner with the right ambience, lighting, service and atmosphere. Instead, the dining areas did not really create that sophisticated or intimate feeling. This was particularly disappointing because the surroundings offer enormous potential for memorable sunset dinners and romantic evenings. Overall, this is a beautiful property in an amazing location, with excellent rooms and breathtaking views. But a five-star hotel is about much more than its physical surroundings. Service, gastronomy, atmosphere and attention to detail need to be at the same level. With stronger staff training, a significant upgrade to the restaurant experience and more attention to atmosphere and guest service, this hotel could become something truly exceptional. At the moment, however, the scenery and accommodation feel five-star, while the overall hospitality experience does not quite reach the same standard.

Most comfortable bed I every tried, large rooms, very clean, beautiful view, quiet. The staff is very nice and helpful.

As second year visiting at the same room we have to say this year was a step down in terms of staff level and overall cleanliness. Lack of basic communication skills from everyone apart from a couple exceptions. Extremely poor of choice of a certain staff member in the restaurant area. Very slow in response and created tension and anxiety in every interaction. For a five star resort and with the amount of money is demanded the level of service is at least average. Management and ownership is always there and watches everyone and everything but it stops there. No will to solve problems and provide a better experience. The location and the general calmness of the place is what saves the day after all. Would recommend it but only with a lower expectation .

Great location, friendly staff, nice food. Looked like there is understaffing issue at the hotel. Also housekeeping needs improvement .Had to inform 3 times the reception to call housekeeping to collect a fruit basket that had ants around it. First call in the morning and they finally came to clean the fruits at almost midnight… also found an ant on the pillow…Also had to wait for almost 30 minutes to have the bell boy pickup the luggage and drive us to the room

Very happy and satisfied with location. Service was not the best provided from the staff. Room door was damaged and never fixed. Staff in restaurants were not polite.

Pros: Breathtaking Setting: The hotel boasts an extraordinary location with spectacular sea views and a beautiful beach. Excellent Rooms: The accommodation itself was fantastic, comfortable, and well-appointed. Cons: Poor Food & Lack of Family Amenities: The food quality at the restaurant was well below expectations. Shockingly, staff initially refused to inform us that a kids' menu was available for our young daughter. Understaffed & Unprofessional Service: The staff was severely lacking in numbers, highly inefficient, and indifferent. During breakfast, employees were openly arguing with each other in front of guests. Inconvenient Pool & Beach Service: To order drinks or food at the pool or beach, you had to physically walk to the restaurant to hunt down a waiter. The beach area had only one single employee who was brand new and overwhelmed. Unmanaged Beach Sunbeds: Sun loungers were reserved with towels early in the morning and left unattended for hours with zero management intervention. Pool Hygiene: The pool area was far from spotless and needed better maintenance. Zero Accountability from Management: When we voiced our complaints at the reception, we left our contact details for the manager to follow up. We were completely ignored and never received a call. While the physical property and views are undeniably gorgeous, the service, dining, and management fall drastically short of luxury standards. A total disappointment for a 5-star resort—we cannot recommend it until management seriously addresses their staffing and operational failures. Lastly, I forgot a perfume, I called the hotel the day I left and asked them to check and call me back. They never called me back the next day, and I had to call again. Apparently it was never found. I challenge the fact that they even asked.

It is clear that the hotel has only recently been taken over by the Mövenpick chain, as in many respects it is still being run more like a family-owned hotel. Attention to detail and a genuine customer-oriented approach do not yet seem to be fully embedded in the hotel staff’s culture. That said, the location itself is beautiful, the beach is exceptional, and the food is very good. However, the staff seems insufficient for the number of guests staying at the hotel during the month of August, which results in slower service and a lack of attention to guests’ needs.

The hotel, rooms, cleaning and breakfast was excuisite. The golf and the beach also amazing: small an private. Great cocktails. The only downside was the deficit in personell and thus customer services especially during lunch and dinner.

Last week, we visited the Agios Nikolas Mövenpick resort for the 3th time. Last year (2025) we were there two times and were extremely content of our stay at the resort. Unfortunately, when we came back this year, we made the conclusion that the some things have drastically changed. Firstly, there were a few problems with the rooms' service. One of the days we were left without water and the cleaning staff came to clean the rooms in the afternoon, which made it impossible for us to relax in the rooms during the hottest hours of the day. In one of the two rooms we had booked, on the 4th day of our stay, we had a problem with the electricity (room 203). The pressure was apparently too low and my daughter's hairdryer couldn't function. She went to the reception to talk to the staff and one of the women, who turned out to be the resort's manager, told her that there was nothing they could do at 7pm and the maintenance team would fix the problem the next day, but that didn't happen. The next day it was the same. About the beach, we noticed a huge difference to last year. The beds were dirty, the sand too, and the staff (2 people, or sometimes just one) was absolutely not enough to serve all the people on the beach. The most disappointing thing about our stay was the restaurant. On August 6th (our last night before leaving) it was my wife's birthday and we wanted to have a celebratory dinner at the resort's restaurant. Two days before, she spoke to one of the waitresses and showed her exactly which table we wanted - the one with the most beautiful view. When it was time for us to go celebrate, we noticed there were other people sitting at that particular table at the exact hour we had reserved it for. When my wife turned to the staff's restaurant, they told her that she had not explained that she wanted this exact table and could give us another one. This of course was an extremely unpleasant start of the evening and because of the staff's disinterest in the whole situation (they didn't even apologise about the misunderstanding), we ended up having dinner outside of the resort. Also, when my wife was making the reservation, she kindly asked the waiters if they could provide a small cake for our family, to which they declined and said it wasn't possible. Here I want to add that on August 6th we spent the day on a boat, where the staff were kind enough to provide a cake and candles for us in the middle of the sea, making our day truly special. In conclusion, because of these inconveniences, I'm not sure we would return to Agios Nikolaos Mövenpick resort again, even though we love the location.

Almost everything is nice , water activitiesand Restaurant must be improved

Relaxing except for a terrifying incident on the beach when an uncontrolled motor boat crashed into sunbeds sending guests flying. We were on the beach at the time approximately 25 feet from where the boat crashed. The hotel was very lucky no one was seriously injured or worse. I raised the matter with the hotel manager who stated the member of staff in control of the boat was not wearing their “kill cord” and when he fell off the boat, the engine kept running. This in itself is gross misconduct on behalf of the member of staff and could have led to a serious incident. In addition the policy of having motor boats mooring on a jetty within the beach swimming area is ludicrous. Small children are playing in the water in the immediate vicinity of outboard motors. I noticed that in the 3 days after the event boats continued to moor up in that area , instead of simply on the other side of the jetty. I have owned and used power boats for many years and enjoy watching the various boats pass along the channel into Sivota. However boating accidents can happen very quickly and I believe guests were left vulnerable to this form of incident by the policy that is in place. The manager assured me the matter would be reviewed and reported to the authorities, I certainly hope that is the case.

We loved the position of the hotel with stunning views! Rooms were modern, stylish and well equipped. Pool and beach area very relaxing. Feedback - What would have been better would be the beach bar open until 8pm to enjoy a relaxing sundowner down by the sea. Dinner restaurant was nice but always quiet - we thought if you offered a bar area up there for pre- and post dinner drinks it might encourage more people to dine in and create more of an atmosphere for enjoying drinks in a space together. We tended to play family game on balcony with a drink in our room. One suggestion would be to have the drinks area out along the front tip of the current restaurant with candles and soft music. Or to use the restaurant level as bar and perhaps the breakfast (Antoli?) restaurant level for dinner.

The hotel is very nicely located with a superb view and great beach and facilities. The rooms are what is to be expected for a 4 star hotel slightly less than for a 5 star, but this should not be a deal breaker for most. Breakfast is very good by any standards and the pool and beach menus are great for snacks. The way the hotel looks is great: well-maintained gardens, nice beach with crystal clear water and comfortable sunbeds. The pools are both nice, but the family pool seemed not to have the clearest water for some reason. The restaurants are relatively standard for a chain hotel with quite high prices and regular food. Much better options can be found in Sivota or close to it. Talking about the location, going to city center is easier by car or taxi as it takes some exercise to walk on the steep inclines leading to the hotel and back. The only small issued we noticed was with the service of some of the staff. It seemed that peiple were not all aware with the Accor app and guest perks ( it took some convincing to get the complimentary welcome drinks as they initially said those were only discounted ), but the attitude was correct and we never had the feeling that they were not trying to help or were not welcoming. Overall this is a beautiful hotel is a superb location with correct service and value for money and we would love to cone back.

It was our second time in this beautiful resort and for sure we will come back. The staff is very professional. The cleaning is perfect. The food is varied, tasty, with options for vegans or people with allergies. The view and the water are amazing. The facilities are up to expectations of an accor group resort.
