Dear Brenton, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. While I wish you had a better experience, it is feedback like this that we learn from and use to improve. We work hard to deliver an exceptional guest experience, and it's apparent in this case that we fell short. As much as we classify the restaurant as a seafood buffet there are plenty of alternatives available for guests who may be allergic or to seafood, including the live cooking station. The other alternative is Shingle Inn, whether you want to dine in or utilise as part of room service, providing more options such as steak to a pizza. Similar to a number of properties the food and beverage outlets are available to not only hotel guests but also outside guests, something that we especially experience with weekends. Won’t be coming back again. No real food, anyone can come in as they please, 4 tvs stuck together to watch the footy. Horrible location.. it’s BARNEY POINT. Definitely not a 5 star hotel. Had to stay somewhere else for another night. Really disappointed.

Absolutely had a fabulous time. The room was absolutely amazing thank you. The seafood buffet was outstanding. The Skybar was very relaxing. The only downfall was that I had told a staff member on the day prior that I would need my manager to pay over the phone via credit card as had issues with my corporate card, then upon check in I mentioned it again. Then upon check out was told no over the phone card payments allowed. We rectified the situation it just put a little bit of a damper on the stay but overall amazing. Thank you

When I booked I thought I had been overcharged as somehow my Accor App had booking in USA $. I complained about the price and probably wouldn’t have booked it at price. I can now understand the price as the service and the room were exceptional

From the moment I checked in to the moment I checked out the staff were absolutely amazing. The rooms were amazing, they are chic, massive TV on the wall the bathroom was probably one of the best hotel bathrooms I have used. Would definitely stay here again next time I'm up that way.

Fiona was so kind and helpful on our check in, the newly refurbished rooms are very nice and the complimentary free non-alocholic mini bar beverages make the stay feel so luxurious. The TV/Bed/kitchen are all of high quality and make you feel like you're staying in a big city hotel. The highquality ice cream and baked cheesecake were a nice way to round off the room experience when we got them as room service.
