We have stayed often at Atrium due to value for money, hotel is efficiently maintained, welcoming personnel and generous with food portions. We are upgraded to use the Lounge due to Diamond Status, and their extra efforts are well noted. There are no balconies but the air is cleaner than outside welcomed by my respiratory issues. Hotel is not in the middle of thing's so quiet and great views of Bangkok, but still central to major shopping areas via a 30 min walk or taxi. Swimming pool small, Gymnasium huge and the inhouse restaurant is excellent. If there is any room for improvement staff could from training on accor functions .. heartist philosophy, accounting, eg how points work and upgrade entitlements. I say this because the hotel no longer has its 5 Star rating, which is totally unfair! But I see customer ratings are spammed full of complaints about hotels attitude and payment procedures ... maybe a self importance toxic element of subtle customer bashing has crept in somewhere? Anyway love the diversity and culture of hotel and we have Atrium 5 Star in the heart ♡

Your operator doesn’t respond properly . I’m living in room 544 . I called 3 times for creamer and sugar , they come after 35 minutes . And my room air conditioning is water dipping and i called operator around 10:30 pm to send somebody to check . They don’t even send a person and forget it . It’s a safety issue I’m living in a room with my wife and 2 kids . You guys don’t have a manners how to deal with customer. Frustrated customer

I stayed in early March for 3 days with a friend visiting from Europe.. This is a hotel that I've stayed at since the days it was flagged under the AVANI ATRIUM Hotel banner back circa 2014.. it's now been re-flagged under GRAND MERCURE name.. I had also stayed at this hotel a years ago, I found the hotel soft product lacking any hospitality standards one would expect from a Mercure let alone a GRAND MERCURE... at the time, I was resigned to not come back given the many other better choices around Bangkok.. Back then I especially noted that even for ALL DIAMOND status members room something about the hotel (along with its imperfections) were zealously and begrudgingly stingy with their room upgrades and late checkouts and unfriendly front desk staff grate on me to the point that It was simpler to just bring my business elsewhere where it was better appreciated and where loyalty and status was rewarded. Then Something changed in mid 2024 when Khun Melisa who was a manager at another Accor hotel in Bangkok where I was a regular guest informed me that she was leaving said hotel (which I won't name here) to be at , I decided then to give Grand Mercure another try. Due to some older rooms which have less than acceptable shower and air conditioner on the 22nd floor, Kudos to Khun Melisa and the hotel staff were proactively trying to resolve these inadequacies by changing my room multiple times: a bit of a hassle. In the case of the latter, I would say the air conditioning system barely cool the rooms 2216 and 2217 sufficiently even when Bangkok whether was still not particularly hot (daytime peak temperature was at 32 degrees C from March 3rd thru 6th). I suspect that as Bangkok enters the peak of hot season from late March thru July that all of the 3 replacement rooms I tried would be woefully inadequate. PLEASE do something about your ageing air conditioning system! Also with erratic shower temperature control! Time to replace the water heating and thermostat systems!! On to the positive aspects of my stay: The hotel staff and the EXECUTIVE LOUNGE are bright spots that delivered the more notable positive experiences of my (our) stay. The service was ON POINT. These 2 factors would be the key reasons I would consider coming back to stay in future. All Executive Lounge staff were excellent but I Only managed to take note of some names on the final day of my recent stay, They were: Khun Priayo, Nanny, Glinda, Khowtung, Aeng-aeay, Pang, Ize and others

I was staying at the Grand Mercure Bangkok Atrium..I went to have breakfast at Public Restaurant..It was very beautiful and they have international food. I met Jang at the restaurant and asked her to take a picture of me..She was so willing and kind..I found her to be very helpful and has a wonderful personality. She is always smiling and ready to help...I am looking forward to another stay at the Grand Mercure So I can meet Jang and her colleagues
